Air strikes in Afghanistan

Since the Obama administration took over, the situation in the volatile region of Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan has if anything deteriorate. This is not necessary or has nothing, so far, to do with how the US under the new president is addressing the problem. In these times of immediate news, most of which are if not worrisome at least they appear so, we seem to forget about them as quickly as we get them.
