German elections results as predicted

Ethiopia faces famine again
Hard to believe that it was almost a quarter of a century that the Live Aid concert took place with many of the worlds pop starts. It was 1985 and many of us were enthusiastic about the large amount of money it was raised (approx. $283.6 million) for famine relief in Ethiopia. Now we are facing the same threat. Three German states hold elections
With just four weeks before Germany’s general elections, three German states -Saarland, Thuringia and Saxony- have been holding elections today with a rather high turnout. Opinion polls indicate that Angela Merkel’s party, the CDU, will be reelected in Saxony but in the other two states the vote for the CDU could crumble, toppled by the center-left Social democrats (SPD). From rental bikes to cars in Paris
No longer a novelty, several major American and European cities offer the possibility of renting a bike for the hour or day. And taking profit of this are not only the tourists but also the dwellers of those mostly congested cities.
