BP is not the only one to blame…

The Gulf of Mexico oil spill is a tragedy in more ways than one. Unfortunately, in our anger and impotence to solve it we have been too quick to find a culprit: BP, which contrary to what most people think -even President Obama made that mistake- does not stand for British Petroleum but for Beyond Petroleum. Was Helen Thomas gagged?
Helen Thomas was the longest serving member of the White House press corps. She had reported from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for 57 years, going back to the presidency of Dwight Eisenhower. Sadly and after remarks made during a videotaped interview for a website called rabbilive.com., Ms Thomas announced she was retiring from Hearst Newspapers where she was a columnist. Joe Biden goes to bat for Israel
