US and China, the two superpowers
Is it time to push adolescents to learn Chinese? Probably. As much as it is hard to accept, if things continue in the direction they have taken China might go from his role of co-superpower with the US, something that seems to be happening, to become the main world leader at least in the economy field. China as guest of honor
This year China celebrates the 60th Anniversary of Communist Rule. To learn about that country and all its riches, the International Fair of Monaco -open from October 10 to 18- has named it Guest of Honor. Culture, folklore, traditions and handicrafts will be presented in a space dedicated to this land, known as one of the oldest cradle of civilization in the world. Read the rest of this entry »

The world empathizes with China

When I wrote the article about the world tragedies on May 18th I omitted what has turned out to be another huge catastrophe which I don’t want to ignore as we all can still do something to help with contributions and physical aid: the powerful earthquake that struck China on the 12th of May.
