Labour, Liberal Democrats or Conservatives?

For several hours polling stations in the UK have been opened to voters. In an election eagerly watched in many European capitals, we are all waiting for the results which will begin to be known at 11pm local time or midnight in the continent. In one of the most exciting of the general elections in years and with an outcome almost impossible to call, there is nothing to do but wait and see if the rise of the Liberal Democrats results in a hung Parliament for the first time since 1974. The chaos in European airports due to a volcanic ash plume from Iceland continue today and nobody knows really when things will go back more or less to normality. Lybia’s holy war against Switzerland

Preoccupied by the Afghan war, health care, the bizarre killing in Dubai and so much more, the situation between Switzerland and Lybia almost escaped us. Withdrawal of US Nuclear Arms from Europe

According to the Belgian newspaper Le Soir, five NATO countries, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway and the Netherlands, are planning to ask for the US to withdraw the nuclear arms from Europe.
