On learning the news that President Obama communicate to the country, many Americans reacted by celebrating the death of Osama bin Laden in a way that could only be explained by the fear its citizens have been under for the last ten years. Does anyone know what is going on in Libya? It seems as if all we are getting is disinformation from all sides. When one sees the confusion and the chaos not only in Libya but also among the reports of the coalition it is hard to believe anything. It was with a little trepidation, that we at KP were planning to write about the danger the western world was getting into with talks of military intervention in Libya as a possibility. We have already been there and we are still suffering the consequences, as Afghanistan and Iraq remind us. Then, we read in The Guardian an article written by Simon Tisdall: “Libyan crisis: Britain and allies now risk overreaction”.
