President Obama had barely signed the health-care reform bill into law when 14 states filed suit over the constitutionality of the burden imposed by such legislation. Starting in 2014, this health-care reform will make as many as 15 million more Americans eligible for Medicaid which will cost the states billions- for new staff and planning- and swamp their budgets. Today President Obama and Vice President Biden were in Tampa, Florida. The president, in a move that is almost a tradition, is going to travel to several states to bring the plans he talked about in his State of the Union last Wednesday to the citizens. Yesterday the UN general assembly, for the 18th consecutive year, passed a non-binding resolution -with 187 votes in favor, three against and two abstentions- condemning the US economic embargo against Cuba.
